When return and exchange windows differ
Ask which rule applies to the actual order before relying on the longer window. A-01, from article 87, describes a warehouse exchange request within 14 days, subject to seller agreement. T-08, from article 51, describes an eligible 5-day/120-hour return or exchange service and also allows order-specific periods. These statements do not establish that every item has 14 days.
Save the order number, stock-in timestamp and the deadline shown in the account. Raise the request promptly rather than waiting for the longer example. Ask support to confirm the item’s eligibility, the applicable cutoff and whether the seller has agreed. Do not treat submitting a question as confirmation that a deadline has been extended.
A return request that can be acted on
- Name the mismatch and the remedy. Give the order number and selected size, colour or model. Attach the seller option and the relevant warehouse photo; say whether you want a return, replacement or a missing-detail check.
- Get the complete cost. Ask for the applicable return/exchange service fee, domestic freight and any seller deduction. Removing tags or original packing can affect eligibility, so settle the request before choosing those services.
- Wait for the approved instructions. Confirm the return recipient and process with the agent. Keep the request, seller response and return tracking together; a request alone is not a completed refund.
- Reconcile the refund destination. Article 87 describes returns to the Kakobuy balance. If you then want funds sent back to a payment method, check the separate balance-refund conditions and charges.
These are practical record-keeping steps based on the retained articles, not a promise that a seller will accept the return.
